How to Hide a Tinder profile
Official help calls this Disable Discovery. Sign in on the app or Tinder.com. Tap the profile icon, open Settings, scroll to Enable Discovery, and turn it off. Your profile should stop showing as a recommendation to new people. You also cannot view new cards or Like anyone new.

Snooze is the free pause. Official help says you open Settings, tap Snooze, and pick 24 hours, 72 hours, a week, or indefinitely. Existing chats stay. Matches with no active chat can expire.
